Please note that no academic credits are directly offered through this program.

The Diploma in TEFL is written at Level 7, which is academically equivalent to postgraduate-level study. Due to its advanced academic content and standards, the course is categorized as a Level 7 qualification.
However, if students wish to use this qualification for credit transfers or further university studies, the decision to accept the qualification for credits will depend entirely on the policies of the individual university or higher education institution.
In today’s highly competitive TEFL landscape, gaining additional certifications can significantly expand your opportunities—whether you aim to teach in a classroom or online.
But what do these qualifications really involve? And are they still necessary if you already hold a bachelor’s or even a master’s degree?
The answer is yes. While academic degrees demonstrate subject knowledge, they do not typically provide the practical teaching skills required for English language instruction. Most employers expect candidates to hold a recognized TEFL or TESOL certification, as these programmes focus on essential areas such as lesson planning, classroom management, language analysis, and effective teaching methodologies.
Even for degree holders, specialized training in Teaching English as a Foreign Language is often a key requirement to meet international teaching standards and secure reputable positions. Simply put, a TEFL or TESOL qualification bridges the gap between knowing English and being able to teach it effectively.
