Our Trinity-accredited TEFL Certificate course is for those who want an internationally recognized qualification and a modern and practical course of teacher training. The CertTESOL is rated at Level 5 on Ofqual's Regulated Qualifications Framework, which is equivalent to the second year of an undergraduate degree. What can I expect?

After enrolling, you will receive our introductory course, which is intended to familiarize you with English teaching methods, grammar, and phonology. It will take 20 to 25 hours to complete the assignments.

Teaching Methodologies

A range of instructional strategies that you can use in your classrooms will be covered.  We provide workshops, tutorials, video content, and input sessions to assist you learn and apply these new methods.

 

Teaching Practice

The first week of the course will be when you start teaching actual adult pupils. A reflection and feedback session with your tutor and fellow trainees will take place following each lesson. This practical experience is typically the most entertaining aspect of the course and is crucial for your resume.

 

Grammar and Language Awareness

Since we recognize that teachers frequently worry about language awareness, you will receive pre-course assignments and course materials to help you develop your confidence in this area.

 

Observations of Experienced teachers

You will have the opportunity to watch our tutors and seasoned educators in action, gaining firsthand knowledge of how other educators organize and conduct their lessons. You will gain more knowledge about lesson planning, classroom management, and staging as a result.

 

Class Materials and Technologies

Our classrooms are all furnished with projectors and computers. We will have workshops on the use of technology in the classroom from our tutors. We strongly promote the usage of coursebooks, social media, interactive online resources like Kahoot, TedTalks, and YouTube. You may construct dynamic and captivating classes with the help of the school's vast library of resources.

 

Learn an Unknown Language

You will take part in four language lessons in a language you have never heard before during the TEFL Certificate course. The instruction will be given entirely in the language without using English. This allows you to experience communicative language training firsthand and put yourself in the shoes of a beginner of English. In previous courses, languages such as Greek, Hindi, Turkish, Polish, Dutch, and Farsi were taught. Although difficult, these workouts are enjoyable!

 

Preparation for finding work

Our Careers Advisor will provide a workshop on finding work at the end of your course and you will be given expert advice on preparing your CV which highlights your background, education, experience and skills.
