COURSE DESCRIPTION :
The course is designed to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes of Diploma in Caregiver Associate in accordance with industry standards. It consists of competencies that a person must achieve to provide care and support to infants/toddlers, provide care and support to children, foster social, intellectual, creative and emotional development of children, foster the physical development of children, provide care and support to elderly, provide care and support to people with special needs, maintain healthy and safe environment, respond to emergency, clean living room, dining room, bedrooms, toilet and bathroom, wash and iron clothes, linen, fabric, prepare hot and cold
Entry Requirements:
Trainees or students wishing to enroll in this course qualification should possess the following requirements:

physically and mentally fit;

with good moral character; and

can perform basic mathematical computation

1) Written Assignment 20% Grading
2) Individual Presentation 20% Grading
3) Paper Based Written Exam 60% Grading
Grading System:
The grading system of the course is as follows;
90-100- A+
75-89- A
65-74 - B
55-64- C
0-54 - Repeat the exam.

Competency assessment and certification:
Students enrolled in the Caregiver Associate course must undergo a competency assessment before graduation. Certificate will be issued to student who passed this assessment.
