TEFL 120hour

Lanka TEFL Training Institute / Language and Training, leading to an internationally recognized Certificate in TESOL. Our TEFL course is internationally recognized validated and moderated British Teaching Colleges and British Accreditation Organisations.

 

The TEFL course is practical, timely and meets all teaching standards. The course is also equally recognized by the Training Qualifications UK, UKRLP, iatefl and International Association of TESOL

Qualifications:

The 120 hour TEFL Course leading to Level 5 Award Certificate. it is independently endorsed by TQUK at a level of learning equivalent to level 5 on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF) for England, Wales and Northern Ireland (in which case GCSE's are at levels 1 and 2 and A Levels are at level 3).

 

Description of TQUK:

TQUK is an Awarding Organisation recognised by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) and the Welsh Government. TQUK offers qualifications on the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).

Entry Requirements:


Minimum Age 19 years upon enrollment,
No upper Age Limit

You need to have one of the following qualification:

O/L English - Credit or A/L General English - Pass
or any Other professional/academic qualifications can be considered.

Day -01

Time 9am – 4pm

A student who wishes to enroll For the Distance Learning Programme must come for registration to the TEFL Institute in Dehiwala on a given day.

It is compulsory for a student to produce the following on that day:

- Copy of National ID / Passport.

- Copy of Birth Certificate

- Educational credentials & copies

- 04 - Passport size photos

- Copy of the CV

- Required payments

All administrative formalities will be attended to on this day.

Four (04) Modules will be given to the student and materials needed to learn the content of the   modules.

 

Day -02

9am – 4pm

On the fifth weekend after registration, the student will have to come to the Institute with the completed modules. Lectures, on the topics of the modules, will be conducted by the respective lecturer/ lecturers to resolve any problems the student may have.

At the end of the day, four (04) more Modules and materials needed will be handed over to the student.

 

Day – 03

9am – 4pm

On the ninth weekend, the student will have to come to the Institute with the completed modules. Again, as on the previous occasion, lectures will be conducted on the topics of the modules to dispel any doubts or resolve any problems the student may have.

Another Four (04) Modules will be given to the student and materials needed to learn the content of the   modules.

 

Day – 04

9am – 4pm

On the thirteenth week, the student will have to come to the Institute with the completed modules. Lectures will be conducted as on other occasions. 

 

Day – 05

9am – 4pm

On the fourteenth week, the student will have Teaching Practice at the Institute.

 

Day – 06

9am – 4pm

On the fifteenth week, the student will have to come to the Institute for Teaching Practice and a Test (In Cass Test)

 

Day – 07

9am – 4pm

On the sixteenth week after registration, the student will have to come to the Institute to participate at a discussion on the Final Assignment. At this discussion the student will be given the following:

Assignment questions for the Final Assignment (Which will be discussed)

Assignment guidelines

Assignment deadlines

 

Hence, for the completion of the TEFL course seven days of attendance is compulsory.

 

Course Fee: Rs.125,000/

1st installment Rs 25,000/ (upfront),
2nd installment Rs 20,000/ (1 Month after start )
3rd installment Rs 20,000/ (2 Month after start )

4th installment Rs 20,000/ ( 3rd Month after start )

5th installment Rs 20,000/ ( 4th Month after start )
